Every human being is a reflection of the Divine. I feel proud to be part of A HOME OF LOVE - PREM ASHRAM which aims at promoting the value of human life and dignity of Special Children who are differently abled. Being with them, I am touched by their innocence, love, affection, forgiveness, patience, tolerance etc. The spark of the Divine Light in them calls me to understand and care for them with tenderness and love. When I listen to the parents of these children their pain and struggle become mine and I am all the more motivated to love and serve them with dedication and commitment. I realize that their parents too are precious pearls with their own brokenness, in need of our love and understanding.
In order to make the motto of this Institution “Leave no one behind on the way to light” a reality we join hands with our like-minded staff to develop their skills and inborn potentials, to uplift and rehabilitate them for a brighter tomorrow. The road may sometimes be rough and challenging and progress may seem slow. But, in those moments, let us remember that every step, no matter how small, is a victory worth celebrating. The child’s progress is not measured by comparison to others but to one’s on previous record. Every effort we make may help to create an inclusive environment where children, regardless of their abilities can contribute to fostering a society of peace, harmony and fraternity.
